Acceptance
By creating an account or using gettitled, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don’t agree with something, please don’t use the service.
Age
You must be at least 16 years old to use gettitled. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Don’t share your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, change your password and tell us at [email protected].
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
What we provide
gettitled gives you a personal chess analysis and training service: we read your games from connected platforms, identify patterns, and generate puzzles, plans and reports. We may add, change or remove features over time. We’ll give you reasonable notice before removing anything you actively rely on.
Subscription & billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel from Settings. Prices are shown in EUR (or your local currency where supported) and may change — we’ll email you at least 30 days before any price increase affecting your plan.
Waitlist members who join before public launch get founders pricing locked for life on whichever plan they pick during the beta.
Refunds
If you’re not happy in the first 14 days after a paid subscription starts, write to [email protected] and we’ll refund you in full, no questions asked. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
Acceptable use
You can use gettitled for personal chess training. You may not:
— Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export gettitled data beyond your own.
— Share your account credentials with anyone.
— Run bots or automated tools against the service except via the documented API (when available).
— Try to break, probe, or overload our servers.
— Reverse-engineer the analysis pipeline to copy it.
— Use gettitled to violate any law, harass anyone, or infringe anyone’s rights.
Your games stay yours
The chess games you connect from Lichess and Chess.com belong to you (and to those platforms under their own terms). gettitled stores them only to analyze them for you. We will never sell, rent, or share your game data.
You can export your full analysis history (PGN + JSON) at any time from Settings.
Our content
The gettitled service, its analysis pipeline, training plans, explanations, and the gettitled brand are our intellectual property. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own training. Don’t republish them, resell them, or pass them off as your own work.
No guarantees
gettitled is provided as is. We do everything we can to make it accurate and useful, but we don’t guarantee:
— That your rating will go up. Improvement depends on you, not on the tool.
— That the service will be available 100% of the time.
— That every analysis is engine-perfect — engines and models occasionally disagree on tough positions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of gettitled is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
You can stop using gettitled at any time, with or without reason, by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms other users or us. If we terminate your account, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first when possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. If we change anything that materially affects your rights or obligations, we’ll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. By continuing to use gettitled after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by writing to [email protected] first goes to the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If you’re an EU consumer, this clause doesn’t take away your right to bring a claim in your home country.
